Welcome to Karmalot

Welcome to the Queendom of Karmalot.
Here you'll find the ramblings and adventures of the Dames of the Rectangular Table. We're a bunch of fun lovin' ladies who enjoy life on the farm, crafting and sewing, cooking and creating art.
We love spending time together and thought it would be fun to share our adventures with others. As we create something new, we'll share it here.
I'm Queen Givemebeer aka Dame Writesalot -- (kind of depends on my mood) and I'll probably post more often than most.

Today -- I collected a half dozen eggs from my small flock of chickens. For some reason they were all out when I got down to the coop this morning. They're so funny! When they realized I was in the coop, they all came in -- as if I has called them in for breakfast.
The two lambs and the calf -- my children's 4-H projects were doing well. School is out tomorrow, so we can get busy getting those animals trained and ready for the fair. It's going to be hard to let go of them. I also picked up some chains and stakes, so we can have the lambs -- and maybe even the calf work on the weed problem in the Enchanted Forest (a grove of pine trees near my home) If we can figure that out, we can rent out the lamb for weed removal!
Need to go to town today and restock the pantry -- I'm feeling the itch to cook -- and make some yummy treats to sell at the Crossroads Farmers Market in Shoshone starting next Friday at 3!
Yesterday, Dame Damnit, Dame Spikesherhair and I met over at Dame Sew-n-Sew's castle for a "Make and Take" sewing workshop. We made the cutest aprons! I'll post a picture later!
They match the table runners we made two weeks ago. Mine is not on my table however -- the backing got folded while I was quilting it and now I have to rip it apart! If it weren't for ripping stitches I'd be a very prolific seamstress!
Must pull some weeds and work in the yard before heading to town -- TTFN!
