Rebellion to revolution

The Dames have gone renegade.
Originally, our plan was to have a booth at the new Crossroads Farmers Market in downtown Shoshone each Friday. But, here's the thing about farmers markets. They have to have rules. Without rules there's chaos, so the rules aren't such a bad thing.
Dames, as a rule however, are rule breakers and risk takers and it soon became clear we didn't fit into this farmers market. So we created our own.
Starting the week of June 15th you'll be able to find Dame grown and made products at the Front Porch Marketplace at Fresh Country Hair.
Fresh Country Hair is owned and operated by Dame Sew-n-Sew (aka Salli Hubbs) and here in Karmalot, Fresh County Hair is heaven on earth. You can get your hair cut and styled, a manicure or pedicure or get a massage --and let me tell you -- Dame Sew-n-Sew's massages are medicinal. She also does reflexology (aka: foot voodoo) which is a miracle cure for all that ales ya.
But it gets better!
She also has Back Porch Fabrics -- where you can buy sewing/quilting fabric and notions and hang out with all the Dames in the Wednesday morning sewing club -- affectionately known as "Stitch-n-Bitch".
Now, you'll be able to purchase locally grown produce, herbs, meats and craft items made and designed by all the Dames (and an occasionally knight). To learn more about Salli, head over to http://www.freshcountryhair.com. It's located on 150 West in North Shoshone, Idaho. Just turn west off Highway 75, travel a mile and a half and turn north. Fresh Country Hair is the first house on the left!

We'll keep you posted about the plans for the Front Porch Marketplace!
