Something good this way comes!

Mark your calendars! The Dames are in business. Coming July 1, Front Porch Marketplace at Fresh Country Hair.
On July 1, you'll be able to buy homegrown produce, herbs, meats and cheeses at Front Porch Marketplace. This is an opportunity to support local farmers, gardeners and crafters. The "store" will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9 a.m. till 6 ish. Fridays, we're encouraging everyone to support Crossroads Farmers Market in downtown Shoshone.
Here's the cool thing: On Wednesdays and Saturdays the Front Porch Marketplace will host open houses. All new products will be in on Wednesday so it will be a great time to see what our growers and crafters have been up to. Plus we're hoping to have food for purchase and we'll continue our Wednesday morning "Stitch and Bitch" sewing workshops! We'll also have "open houses" on Saturdays where you can meet the vendors and enjoy sample tastes of our products.
Right now, we have several quilters and crafters on board -- and we know we'll have plenty of fresh herbs, home baked goods, fresh eggs, lamb and sheep's milk cheese available for purchase!
But here's the best thing about Front Porch Marketplace! It presents and opportunity for some of our neighbors and friends to follow their bliss -- to create the art or grow the products -- the things them happy. Maybe, just maybe, some people will be able to not only follow their bliss, but make enough money to make it a profitable experience!
Here's the bonus: we're planning on distributing a neighborhood newsletter each month -- maybe even each week that will talk about neighborhood events, our products and the businesses we love to support.
So we need to hear from everyone! What products would you like to see in the Marketplace? What stories would you like to see in the newsletter? Do you have anything you'd like to sell at the Marketplace? Just contact one of us or leave a comment here!
